ISTANBUL (AA) - Inter Milan maintained their lead in the Italian Serie A league despite a 1-1 draw with Spezia on Wednesday.
Spezia opened the scoring with Diego Farias in minute 12 as Ivan Perisic leveled the game in the 38th minute at La Spezia's Alberto Picco stadium.
Second-place AC Milan were shocked by a 2-1 loss to Sassuolo in a home game as Giacomo Raspadori scored twice for the winning side and AC Milan's goal came from Hakan Calhanoglu at San Siro.
Juventus claimed a 3-1 victory over Parma, while the Turin club found goals with Alex Sandro (2) and Matthijs De Ligt.
Gaston Brugman produced a goal for Parma.
Inter Milan are at the top of the Italian top-tier football division standings with 76 points, followed by AC Milan with 66 points and Juventus with 65 points.
