BEIRUT (AA) - Iran-backed Shiite militias in Iraq claimed on Thursday that they carried out an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack on Israel's Haifa Port.
The group, identified as the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, said the attacks were launched in Palestinian territories under Israeli occupation and stressed that the actions against Israel would continue.
Shiite militias in Iraq often carry out missile and UAV attacks targeting Israel's strategic port cities, military points and infrastructure.
