JERUSALEM (AA) - The Israeli army said Tuesday that Iran will not get off “scot-free” following its weekend’s drone and missile attack.
“We cannot stand still from this kind of aggression, Iran will not get (off) scot-free with this aggression,” army spokesman Daniel Hagari said in statements carried by The Times of Israel newspaper.
“We will respond in our time, in our place, in the way that we will choose,” he added.
Iran said the weekend’s attack was in response to the April 1 strike on its consulate in Syria, in which at least 13 people were killed, including seven military advisers.
Israel has vowed to respond to the Iranian attack.
