Iranian singer Mansour to hold series of concerts in Istanbul

Mansour's song Bari Bakh, sung in Azerbaijani Turkish on his 2013 album Sinirsiz, received praise in Türkiye and the Turkic world

ISTANBUL (AA) - Iranian Azerbaijani singer Mansour said Wednesday that he will meet with his fans throughout the summer in Istanbul with a series of concerts.

Mansour Jafari Mamaghani, who moved from Türkiye to Los Angeles at the age of 12 and now lives in the US, has achieved significant milestones in his 30-year career.

He told Anadolu that his song Bari Bakh, performed in Azerbaijani Turkish on his 2013 album Sinirsiz, received widespread acclaim in Türkiye and the Turkic world.

Mansour expressed his gratitude for being recognized in the Turkic world through the song.

He said he finds it intriguing that even ordinary people in Türkiye know him because of this song, which is rooted in his childhood memories of folklore.

He expressed his happiness that the song has been well-received by Turks.
