BAGHDAD (AA) - The Iraqi parliament on Wednesday voted for a manual recount of nationwide elections held last month.
Also, the parliament voted in favor of appointing nine judges to run the country’s official electoral commission.
A total of 172 parliamentarians attended the session presided by Salim al-Jubouri, the parliament speaker.
The May 12 elections were the country's first parliamentary poll since 2014.
