JERUSALEM (AA) - The Israeli army on Saturday said that it carried out an airstrike on a “rocket launch point” in southern Lebanon.
In a statement, the army said that the “rocket launch point” was detected in the Lebanese territory, from where shots were fired toward Israel.
The statement said that mortars were fired at Israeli army points and soldiers on the border.
Earlier, sirens were activated in northern Israel after rockets were fired at cities close to the Lebanon border, the Israeli army said.
