RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) – The Israeli army on Friday morning blew up two homes near the West Bank city of Hebron belonging to two Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails.
According to an Anadolu reporter, the Israeli army blew up two apartments in a building for detainees Mohammad Al-Shantir and Saqer Al-Shantir in the Dura town.
Both were detained by the Israeli army in August after they were accused of opening fire on Israeli settlers, killing one and injuring another.
Tensions have been running high across the occupied West Bank since the fighting broke out on Oct. 7 between Palestinian groups and Israel in Gaza.
At least 182 Palestinians have been killed and more than 2,250 injured by the Israeli forces across the West Bank since then, according to latest figures.
