ISTANBUL (AA). - The houses of Palestinians were damaged Saturday and at least three young people were detained in raids by the Israeli army in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian news agency, WAFA.
WAFA said Israeli forces raided Nablus, Bethlehem, Salfit and Jerusalem in the early hours.
Israeli forces beat and detained the young Palestinians at the entrance to Teqoa in southeast Bethlehem.
A fight broke out between Palestinians and Israeli forces during the raid on the Shufat Refugee Camp in northern occupied Jerusalem. Israeli forces threw tear gas and opened fire on Palestinians.
Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip since a cross-border attack by the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, on Oct. 7.
At least 22,600 Palestinians have since been killed and 57,910 injured, according to Gaza’s health authorities. Nearly 1,200 Israelis are believed to have been killed in the Hamas attack.
The onslaught has left Gaza in ruins, with 60% of the enclave's infrastructure damaged or destroyed and nearly 2 million residents displaced amid acute shortages of food, clean water and medicine.
