RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) - Israeli army forces on Wednesday detained 30 Palestinians in overnight raids across the occupied West Bank, bringing the total number to 150 since Saturday, according to a local NGO.
In a statement, the Palestinian Prisoner Society said the detentions took place in the provinces of Tubas, Nablus, Jericho, Ramallah, Hebron, and Jerusalem.
Israeli detentions of Palestinians usually take place in overnight raids in the occupied West Bank. Detainees are usually transferred to temporary detention centers in settlements before being transferred to main investigation centers or prisons, and some of them are released after hours or days of investigation.
