NABLUS, Palestine (AA) - Israeli forces killed at least four Palestinians during raids in the occupied West Bank on Monday.
Three Palestinians were killed in Nablus and another near Ramallah, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
The ministry said 19 others were wounded, two of whom are in critical condition.
According to a report by Palestinian state television, violence erupted when Israeli security forces who had entered Nablus were spotted by Palestinian security officers.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that Israeli forces entered the city from various points. As they raided a house in the area, gunshots and explosions were heard.
Meanwhile, a Palestinian group calling itself the Lion’s Den called on Palestinians to take action.
According to the United Nations, more than 100 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire since the start of the year, the heaviest toll in the occupied West Bank for nearly seven years.
