STOCKHOLM (AA) - Israeli attacks on Gaza were protested Wednesday in Stockholm after a call to rally by non-governmental organizations.

Protesters rallied in front of the Israeli Embassy and carried banners that read:
“Murderer Israel”, “Stop the Genocide” and “Palestine Forever!”

Demonstrators also chanted “Free Palestine”, “Terrorist Israel” and “Terrorist Netanyahu.”

They then marched to the US Embassy to protest American support for Israel.

Israel launched a massive military campaign in the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, on Oct. 7.

It has since killed more than 15,000 people, including 6,150 children and 4,000 women, according to health authorities in the enclave.

The official Israeli death toll stands at 1,200.
