STOCKHOLM (AA) – A group of protesters demonstrated outside the US and Israeli embassies in Stockholm on Wednesday in solidarity with Palestine.
Dozens of protesters demanded an end to Israeli attacks on Gaza at the Israeli Embassy.
They chanted "Free Palestine" during the demonstration while carrying Palestinian flags.
The crowd later marched toward the US Embassy amid high police measures.
Demonstrators rejected US support to Israel and accused Washington of "complicity in war crimes committed by Israel."
Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks in the Gaza Strip following an Oct. 7 Hamas attack, killing more than 14,532 Palestinians, including more than 6,000 children and 4,000 women, according to health authorities in the enclave.
Thousands of buildings, including hospitals, mosques and churches, have been damaged or destroyed in Israel’s air and ground attacks on the besieged enclave.
The Israeli death toll, meanwhile, is around 1,200, according to official figures.
