BEIRUT (AA) - Three people were injured in an Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon on Thursday amid escalating tensions with Hezbollah, the Health Ministry said.
The attack targeted the border town of Yaroun, the ministry added in a statement.
The state-run National News Agency reported another Israeli airstrike on a house in the town of Doueir.
No information was yet available about casualties.
Fears have grown about a full-blown war between Israel and Hezbollah amid a months-long exchange of cross-border fire.
The escalation comes against the backdrop of an Israeli onslaught against the Gaza Strip which has killed nearly 39,700 victims since October following an attack by Palestinian resistance group Hamas.
