ISTANBUL (AA) - Amid heightened tensions with Iran, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz has postponed his scheduled visit to Hungary and Austria, which was set for Sunday, said Israeli news website news 1.
The visit included significant policy discussions with the president of Hungary, the chancellor of Austria, and the foreign ministers of both countries.
The move comes as Iran weighs attack in retaliation for a strike that killed seven of its military officers.
Israel has also announced new restrictions on civilian gatherings across the country in response to threats of a potential Iranian attack.
