JERUSALEM (AA) - Israeli police on Monday shot a Palestinian who allegedly attempted to carry out a stabbing attack near an Israeli military checkpoint south of Jerusalem.
A Palestinian “arrived at the (Mazmoria) checkpoint on the outskirts of Jerusalem, east of the village of Sur Baher, and took out a knife and approached the border guard officers,” the police said in a statement.
