BEIRUT (AA) - Three drones launched from Lebanon exploded in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights on Wednesday evening, resulting in minor injuries to an Israeli woman, Israeli Army Radio reported.
“Three Hezbollah drones exploded in Golan Heights, and a woman sustained minor injuries,” the radio network said. It, however, did not specify whether the injured woman was a civilian or a soldier.
Israeli military in a separate statement on X said its drones detected a number of Hezbollah members entering a military site in the Tayr Harfa, southern Lebanon.
Fighter jets attacked the location where the members were present, it said, adding that warplanes also bombed the group's military infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in the village of Taybeh in Marjayoun district, southern Lebanon.
Since the war in Gaza began last October, there have been daily exchanges of fire, and thousands of civilians have been displaced on both sides of the shared border. A recent flare up in escalation has led to fears of a full-scale war between the two sides.
