Israel's massacres against displaced Palestinians ‘disgrace to international community': Hamas

Targeting displaced civilians escaping the ongoing bombardment is ‘criminal fascist’ act, says Palestinian group

GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) - The Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, said Friday that Israeli forces’ targeting displaced civilians escaping the ongoing bombardment is a “criminal fascist” act and a “disgrace to the international community.”

“The occupation’s massacre against the displaced civilians on Salah al-Din Road and the Buraq School is a disgrace to humanity, and our people will not be defeated by this criminal fascism,” it said in a statement.

Hamas considered that "the occupation's killing of more than 50 Palestinians in these massacres and its continuation of committing more crimes, in front of the world, constitutes a disgrace to the international community and humanity as a whole."

There was no statement by the health or the interior agencies in the Gaza Strip regarding the death toll from the two bombings.

Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip -- including hospitals, residences, and houses of worship -- since a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7.

At least 11,078 Palestinians have been killed, including 4,506 children and 3,027 women.

The Israeli death toll, meanwhile, is 1,400, according to official figures.
