ISTANBUL (AA) - Italian football club Juventus confirmed Wednesday the signing of Manuel Locatelli from Sassuolo.
"Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement with U.S. Sassuolo Calcio for the free temporary acquisition, until 30 June 2023, of the registration rights of the player Manuel Locatelli has been finalized," Juventus said in a statement.
"In short, the numbers, despite his young age, tell of a lad with superb talent and the personality of a veteran. Of someone who has already made his mark," it added.
Locatelli, 23, helped the Italian national team win the EURO 2020 title.
The midfielder scored seven goals and 11 assists in 99 games for Sassuolo and he also played for AC Milan.
