Italian pianist Ludovico Einaudi to perform in Istanbul

Composer is known for his contributions to contemporary classical music

ISTANBUL (AA) — Italian pianist Ludovico Einaudi is set to perform in Istanbul on Sept. 11.

According to the schedule of his concerts shared on his website, Einaudi will take the stage at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre.

The Italian composer is known for his contributions to contemporary classical music.

Einaudi’s musical journey began under the guidance of his mother, an amateur pianist. He honed his skills studying with distinguished composers such as Azio Corghi, Luciano Berio, and Karlheinz Stockhausen.

Einaudi has composed for ballet, cinema, and theater and his albums Le Onde and I Giorni recieved widespread acclaim from audiences.
