ROME (AA) - Italian top football division Serie A club Inter announced Wednesday that they signed Turkish international Caner Erkin.
The Milanese club stated on their website that they agreed to sign Fenerbahce's 27-year-old left-winger for three years.
Fenerbahce veteran Erkin's contract expired at the end of this season.
Caner’s ambitious, industrious playing style in both offense and defense has drawn praise.
He has made 46 international appearances for Turkey.
Caner Erkin joined Fenerbahce in July 2010. Before his six-year spell at Fenerbahce, he played for Manisaspor, CSKA Moscow, and Galatasaray.
The Turkish left-back scored 16 goals and produced 48 assists in 213 matches for Fenerbahce, and helped win the team two Spor Toto Super Lig titles in 2011 and 2014.
