WARSAW (AA) – The Lithuanian prime minister on Tuesday said it is time for bold defense and deterrence decisions in NATO.
Ingrida Simonyte in a tweet announced that she discussed with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg the alliance's Vilnius Summit to be held in the Lithuanian capital on July 11-12.
"Seeing Russia's long-term threat, it is time for bold defence & deterrence decisions, strengthening NATO as our collective shield in a more dangerous world," she said.
"Decisions on Ukraine's future membership must not please the aggressor," Simonyte also stressed.
