Japanese premier, Saudi crown prince discuss bilateral cooperation

They agree to continue ‘close collaboration,' including through high-level communication, says Japanese Foreign Ministry

ISTANBUL (AA) – Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida spoke over the phone with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and discussed cooperation between their countries.

In a statement, the Japanese Foreign Ministry said that during their conversation, the Saudi crown prince said that he “would like to continue to strengthen cooperation in various areas between the two countries.”

“The two leaders concurred to "continue close collaboration," including through high-level communication, the statement added.
