ANKARA (AA) - Hitachi said Thursday it is suspending exports to Russia and pausing all manufacturing activities within the country amid the war in Ukraine.
The move includes exceptions of products, services and support for electrical power equipment that are indispensable to the daily lives of people, it said in a statement.
The company's revenues in the Russian market accounts for approximately 0.5% of its consolidated revenues forecast for the fiscal year ending in March 2022, it added.
In addition to western companies, Nikon, Canon Panasonic are either halting sales and deliveries or suspending operations in Russia.
Sony Interactive Entertainment announced it suspended all software and hardware shipments and operations of the PlayStation Store in Russia.
And Nintendo stopped shipping products to Russia.
