ISTANBUL (AA) - Japan's annual producer inflation was 2.9% in June, the Bank of Japan announced on Wednesday.
On a monthly basis, the producer price index was also up by 0.2% in June, the bank's figures showed.
The highest annual hike was seen in nonferrous metals item with 19.4%, while lumber and wood products posted a decline with 2.1%.
The country's export prices went up by 10.4% year-on-year in June.
Import prices also posted an increase of 9.5% in June on a yearly basis.
