John Malkovich’s Infernal Comedy to grace in Istanbul

Emmy winner American actor portrays narrative of Austrian serial killer, writer Jack Unterweger

ISTANBUL (AA) - World-famous actor John Malkovich will take the stage in Istanbul in the play “The Infernal Comedy.”

Malkovich, 70, will meet the audience at Zorlu Performing Arts Center on Sept. 16 and 17.

Emmy Award-winning American actor will play the role of an Austrian serial killer-writer Jack Unterweger, who committed suicide in 1994 on the day he was sentenced to life imprisonment for the second time.

Organized by BWO Entertainment, the one-man show features live orchestral interpretations of works by Vivaldi, Beethoven and Mozart to enhance the emotional depth of the story.
