AMMAN, Jordan (AA) – Jordan’s King Abdullah II on Tuesday issued a royal decree approving a Cabinet reshuffle in the kingdom.
The change included eight portfolios, including the ministers of irrigation, industry, housing and transport.
On Monday, government ministers tendered their resignations ahead of the reshuffle.
Tuesday’s shakeup was the 7th in the government of Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh since Oct. 7, 2020.
Al-Khasawneh is the 13th prime minister during the reign of King Abdullah II since he assumed his constitutional powers on Feb. 7, 1999.
