ANKARA (AA) - Joshua Kimmich extended his contract with Bayern Munich until 2025 on Monday, according to the club's official website.
The 26-year-old player stated that the most important reason for his contract extension is to pursue his passion with joy every day at Bayern.
Kimmich added that: "On top of that, my family feels at home here. Munich has become a second home."
German midfielder joined the Munich club from RB Leipzig in 2015.
He has one UEFA Champions League title, won in 2020, and six Bundesliga titles in a row from 2016 to 2021 with Bayern Munich.
Kimmich has produced 30 goals and 73 assists in 264 games for Bayern Munich so far.
The defensive midfielder has 59 caps for the German national team, producing three goals.
