Italian Serie A side Juventus announced Friday that the club decided to let manager Massimiliano Allegri go.
The Bianconeri stated that Allegri's behavior during Wednesday's 2023-24 Coppa Italia final against Atalanta, which Juventus won 1-0, was the main reason for the 56-year-old's dismissal.
"The exoneration follows certain behaviors during and after the Coppa Italia final that the club deemed incompatible with the values of Juventus and the behavior that those who represent it should have," read the official statement of the Italian club.
Allegri led Juventus to five consecutive Serie A titles between 2015 and 2019, along with five Coppa Italia trophies, four of them are consecutive between 2015 and 2018.
