ANKARA (AA) - Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey is now a free agent as Juventus terminated his contract on Tuesday, the Italian football club said on social media.
"OFFICIAL | Aaron Ramsey's contract with Juventus has been mutually terminated. All the best, Aaron Ramsey!" Juventus said on Twitter.
Ramsey, 31, in 2019 left England's Arsenal for Juventus.
He spent the majority of his career at Arsenal, scoring 65 goals and making 65 assists in 371 appearances for the Gunners.
Ramsey helped Arsenal win three English FA Cups and two FA Community Shields.
In January, Ramsey joined Scottish Premiership club Rangers on loan to spend the second half of the 2021-22 season in Glasgow.
He helped capture the 2022 Scottish Cup, and played in the 2022 UEFA Europa League final this May that the Rangers lost to Eintracht Frankfurt on penalties.
Ramsey helped Juventus claim an Italian Serie A title in 2020, an Italian Cup, and an Italian Super Cup.
He scored six goals in 69 matches for Juventus.
The experienced midfielder represented Wales in the UEFA EURO 2016 and 2020.
Ramsey tallied 20 goals in 74 international caps for the Welsh national team.
