ANKARA (AA) - Real Madrid's French forward Karim Benzema renewed his contract with the Spanish football powerhouse on Friday.
In a statement, Real Madrid said that Benzema will remain at the club for the next two seasons and that his new deal will expire on June 30, 2023.
The 33-year-old is one of the Real Madrid veterans. He joined the Whites in 2009.
Benzema scored 281 goals in 560 appearances for Real Madrid.
The former Olympique Lyon regular won four UEFA Champions League, three Spanish La Liga titles, four FIFA Club World Cup and three UEFA Super Cup trophies with Real Madrid.
Benzema piled up 87 international caps to score 31 goals for the French national team.
