ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish manufacturing company Karmod installed a prefabricated office building at a solar power plant in Romania, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
The prefabricated office building was installed in the city of Brasov, Romania.
Karmod Board Member and Sustainability Manager Hakan Durmaz emphasized that the office buildings were prepared for commercial enterprises in a short time.
"We carry out housing projects across Europe with our safe and long-lasting steel construction structures. Along with residential projects, there has been a special interest in our prefabricated office buildings for commercial purposes recently. The fast installation feature of our prefabricated structures is one of the main factors in these demands. Additionally, the proximity of European countries in terms of road transport is also a significant advantage," he said.
He said that they can design projects and manufacture them in a very short time for special requests.
"We produce our prefabricated steel structures entirely with bolted and interlocking systems without welding. Local teams can easily install them according to the assembly scheme. We also provide ready-to-use installation services by sending our supervisor teams,” Durmaz said.
“The installation processes of our structures progress very quickly. A team of three people can complete the installation of an average 100 square meter prefabricated office building within three-four days,” he added.
The office building for the solar power plant in Brasov, where energy is produced from the sun, has a closed area of 102 square meters, Durmaz noted.
“The installation of the commercial office building was completed in four days. Including the cladding insulation applications, paint, and fine workmanship, it was made ready for use in 20 days. Special steel support applications were implemented due to the heavy snow load in the area where the prefabricated office building is used during the winter months," he said.
