ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish modular construction firm Karmod has established a container site office building for use in a highway project in Romania, the company announced on Thursday.

The newly installed container site office is now in use by the technical team working on the 24-kilometer (15-mile) highway project, according to a company announcement.

Karmod Sales Manager Ozay Kemal Karakucuk said the container office, completed in Buzau, Romania, is now being used by the technical team for the project. He stated that their quickly assembled container structures facilitate the timely start of construction projects.

He stressed that their specially developed container structures are the preferred building model for construction projects in challenging work environments.

"Karmod container structures are favored by site workers for their ergonomic design. Our insulation applications provide optimal comfort year-round, and we ensure safety with fire prevention measures. Our rapid installation allows project owners to start on time, and our insulation helps save on energy costs," he added.

He said the container management buildings for the highway project in Buzau cover an area of 228 square meters (2,454 square feet) and include 16 dismantled container units measuring 240x500 centimeters.

Karakucuk mentioned that they completed the installation within six days, adding that the office features seven separate workrooms, along with a kitchen and restrooms.
