‘Kesisme; Iyi ki Varsin Eren’ to meet cinema lovers in 9 countries

Film tells story of Eren Bulbul, Ferhat Gedik, killed in clash with PKK terrorists

ISTANBUL (AA) - The TRT co-production of "Kesisme; Iyi ki Varsin Eren" will meet cinema lovers in 350 movie theaters in Turkey and eight countries on Jan. 1.

The film, which tells the story of Eren Bulbul and Petty Officer Senior Sergeant Ferhat Gedik, who were killed in a clash between PKK terrorists and Mehmetcik (Turkish soldiers) on Aug. 11, 2017, in the Black Sea province of Trabzon’s Macka district, is being prepared for the silver screen.

"Kesisme; Iyi ki Varsin Eren" will be released in Turkey on Bulbul’s birthday, as well as in Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, the UK, Azerbaijan, Norway and Denmark.

The film was produced by Mustafa Uslu and directed by Ozer Feyzioglu.

It stars Ismail Hacioglu, Rahman Besel, Alayca Ozturk, Mutlunur Lafci and Emir Cicek.

Fahir Atakoglu composed the soundtrack.

The life story of two martyrs, written by Mert Dikmen, Alper Uyar and Ozer Feyzioglu, will be reflected on the silver screen with sections from the lives of hardworking, altruistic and loving people written by Mert Dikmen, Alper Uyar and Ozer Feyzioglu.
