BERLIN (AA) - Several people were injured on Wednesday in a knife attack on a regional train travelling between the north German port city of Kiel and Hamburg, a Germany daily reported.
According to a spokesman for the Federal Police in the city of Flensburg, a man attacked the train passengers with a knife. The exact number of injured is not yet known.
The motive for the attack was not immediately known and railway traffic has been halted as a result of the incident, police said.
