ANKARA (AA)- Health authorities in Saudi Arabia and Libya released new numbers related to the coronavirus outbreak.
Saudi Arabia registered 28 new fatalities, 775 infections and 720 recoveries in the past 24 hours.
The total count in the kingdom, hence, rose to 323,012 cases, including 4,165 deaths, and 298,966 recoveries.
Meanwhile, Libya, whose health infrastructure is in tatters due to years of armed conflict, registered 10 virus-linked deaths and 879 new infections.
The North African country's tally now stands at 20,462 cases, including 342 deaths, and 2,329 recoveries.
The National Centre for Disease Control has launched a campaign to raise awareness about health protocols, including the wearing of masks in public.
