ISTANBUL (AA) - At least 11 workers were rescued after two buses were buried due to landslides in the Philippines, according to local media on Wednesday.
Army Maj. Gen. Allan Hambala told the Manila-based Rappler News that the incident happened on Tuesday at the Apex Mining Company site in the Maco area of Davao de Oro province in the Mindanao region.
The landslides hit the waiting area where Filipino workers were aboard the two buses at around 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday (1130GMT).
Rescuers have been searching for any missing person, the media report added.
