ANKARA (AA) – The Lebanese Foreign Ministry on Friday condemned a terror attack earlier this week in Ankara that targeted a defense industry facility.
It affirmed "Lebanon's solidarity and stand by the Turkish Republic," in the face of the attack as it denounced "all forms of violence and terrorism."
Lebanon, which is facing an incursion and daily attacks by Israel, extended condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for those injured in the terror attack.
At least five people were killed and 22 injured Wednesday when terrorists attacked the headquarters of the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), according to Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya.
Yerlikaya said the neutralized terrorists responsible for the attack were identified as members of the PKK terror group.
In its more than 40-year terror campaign against Türkiye, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the US and the EU -- has been responsible for the deaths of 40,000 victims.
