TRIPOLI (AA) - Head of Libya’s Presidential Council Mohamed al-Menfi on Saturday met with Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf to discuss bilateral relations between their countries.
According to a statement from the Presidential Council, al-Menfi received Attaf in Tripoli.
The meeting discussed developments in security and political spheres in Libya, as well as efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries were discussed, it said.
Attaf also delivered to al-Menfi a written message from Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
On Friday, the Algerian foreign minister also visited Tunisia and met with Tunisian President Kais Saied.
