RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AA) – A light plane crashed in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Tuesday, according to local media.
The plane crashed as it took off from Al-Thumamah Airport in Riyadh, Al Ekhbariya channel reported.
The pilot was killed in the incident, the Aviation Investigation Office said.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the crash.
