ISTANBUL (AA) - Lille on Thursday terminated the contract of Jocelyn Gourvennec after a single season in charge.
The club expressed their gratitude to Gourvennec in a statement for his "collaboration, commitment, and professionalism" in the 2021-2022 season, noting his 2021 Trophee des Champions (French Super Cup) victory.
Les Dogues finished Ligue 1 in 10th place under his helm with 55 points.
The Ligue 1 side had appointed Gourvennec to replace Christophe Galtier as head coach in July 2021.
