ANKARA (AA) - Lithuania on Friday received ventilators sent by Turkey as part of cooperation against the novel coronavirus.
In a Twitter post written in the Turkish language, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius announced the arrival of the ventilators and thanked Turkey for setting a "good example of cooperation".
“A good example of cooperation between Turkey and Lithuania against the COVID-19. I thank my dear friend Mevlut Cavusoglu, Turkish Government and Turkish diplomats,” Linkevicius said.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu responded to the tweet and said: “Always standing by our friend&ally #Lithuania. Will overcome this challenge together.”
