ANKARA (AA) - Liverpool shutout West Ham United 1-0 on Saturday for their seventh straight victory in the Premier League.
The lone goal by Sadio Mane in the 27th minute gave the Reds the narrow win at Anfield.
Having collected 63 points, Liverpool is in the second spot in the league table and continue to chase leaders Manchester City, who have 66 points this season.
West Ham United are fifth in the standings with 45 points.
Before the match, there was a minute of applause to show support for Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Chelsea secured a 4-0 easy win against struggling Burnley on goals by Reece James, Kai Havertz (2) and Christian Pulisic in their first match since Russian owner Roman Abramovich put his club up for sale.
The Russian billionaire decided to sell Chelsea after Russia's war on Ukraine.
The 55-year-old billionaire said he will sell Chelsea for the London club's "best interest at heart" amid media speculation about his ownership.
