ISTANBUL (AA) - Liverpool on Monday suffered a 3-1 loss to Brentford 3-1 on matchday 19 of the English Premier League.
Ibrahima Konate broke the deadlock in the 19th minute while Yoane Wissa doubled the lead in the 42nd minute in favor of Brentford at Gtech Community Stadium.
Liverpool narrowed the gap to one with a 50-minute goal from Alexander Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Bryan Mbeumo produced a goal for the home side as the game ended with a 3-1 score in Brentford.
Liverpool remained in sixth place with 28 points while Brentford jumped to the number seven spot to boost their points to 26.
