ANKARA (AA) - Liverpool suffered their first defeat in 25 Premier League matches Sunday, losing 3-2 against West Ham United.
West Ham took an early lead in the fourth minute at London Stadium as Liverpool goalie Alisson Becker swung at and mostly missed a West Ham corner kick with his fist, resulting in an own goal.
Before the end of the first half, Trent Alexander-Arnold's curl from a free kick equalized the score in the 41st minute.
West Ham took the lead again in the second half as Pablo Fornals' left-footed shot from outside the box made it 2-1 in the 67th minute.
Just seven minutes later, West Ham struck again with Kurt Zouma and made it 3-1.
A left-footed shot in the 83rd minute from Liverpool's Belgian forward Divock Origi produced the final score of 3-2.
With this victory, West Ham climbed to third spot in the Premier League table with 23 points while Liverpool dropped to fourth with 22 points. Chelsea leads with 26 points.
