BERLIN (AA) - German airline Lufthansa on Thursday announced extending the suspension of its flights to Iran’s capital Tehran until April 13 due to security reasons.
In a statement made by the Lufthansa press office to Anadolu, it was stated that flights to Tehran were suspended until Saturday due to the current situation in the region.
On Wednesday, Lufthansa announced that it suspended flights to Tehran for security reasons.
The company said that it is continuously monitoring the situation and remains in contact with authorities, stressing that "the safety of our passengers and crew is our top priority.”
