ANKARA (AA) - Croatian midfielder Luka Modric extended his contract with Real Madrid until 2022, the Spanish side confirmed on Tuesday.
The 2018 Ballon d'Or winner moved to Real Madrid from England's Tottenham Hotspur in August 2012, scoring 28 goals in 391 appearances.
The 35-year-old player has been a vital part of the Spanish club over a nine-year spell, helping to win 17 titles including four Champions League and two La Liga trophies.
