ANKARA (AA) - A Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 23 game between Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and Fenerbahce Beko set for this week has been suspended over COVID-19 cases among Turkish team players.
"Fenerbahce requested the suspension after several team members tested positive for COVID-19, which leaves the team without the minimum eight players on the Authorization List fit to play," EuroLeague said on Monday.
The game was initially scheduled for Thursday.
Each match can be rescheduled up to three times if dates allow, according to special COVID-19 regulations approved by EuroLeague officials.
