ISTANBUL (AA) - A strong earthquake jolted the US state of Alaska, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said on Friday.
The epicenter of the earthquake that occurred on Thursday local time (0313GMT Friday) was located 168 kilometers (104 miles) southwest of the Nikolski, the USGS said.
The earthquake was felt at a depth of 41 km (25 mi), and no tsunami warning was issued afterward.
There were no reports of casualties or property damage from the earthquake.
