LONDON (AA) - A man was arrested for injuring at least four people, including two officers, in east London, according to police on Tuesday.
A serious incident was declared early Tuesday after a man with a "sword" first drove into a house in Hainault and stabbed several people.
Metropolitan Police said in a statement that two officers are among those injured after being attacked by the 36-year-old suspect, who is in custody.
Emergency services are at the scene, with Transport for London saying Hainault Underground Station is closed due to the incident.
"We do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the wider community. We are not looking for more suspects. This incident does not appear to be terror-related," Deputy Assistant Commissioner Ade Adelekan said in the statement.
