Manchester United has signed Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee from Italy's Bologna.
"Manchester United is pleased to confirm that Joshua Zirkzee has joined the club, subject to registration,” the English Premier League team said in a statement Sunday.
"The Dutch forward has signed a contract until June 2029, with the option to extend for a further year."
Last season Zirkzee, 23, was Bologna's top scorer with 11 goals and helped the Italian Serie A club qualify for the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League.
Zirkzee was named to the Netherlands' EURO 2024 squad but he had substitute appearances during the tournament. The Netherlands lost to England 2-1 in the Dortmund semifinal.
Before his two-season stint at Bologna, he played for Bayern Munich, Parma, and Anderlecht.
